Ponder Cove Beach Club Membership
Neighbors of the Ponder Cove Community are invited to join our Beach Club. The Beach Club property is at the end of Ponder Drive and includes a playground, swimming area, fishing pier, recreation area, picnic area, launch ramp, and boat slips. This beach area is maintained and improved by the contributions (both financial and physical) of Beach Club members, and only Beach Club members and their guests have permission to use to this property. As a member, you and family members living in your home will enjoy unlimited access to the club property during posted operational hours.
To apply for membership, complete the Membership Application Form and return it to the post office box or give it to one of the board members listed on this site. Upon acceptance of your membership application, you will be required to pay a one-time initiation fee of one hundred ($100) dollars and the first year’s dues of seventy five ($75) dollars. Annual dues are seventy five ($75) dollars, payable each May. The annual membership fee is subject to change as the maintenance needs of the club change.
Boat Slips
You must become a member of the Beach Club in order to become eligible to rent a boat slip. Boat slips are not included in the annual dues and require an additional yearly fee of $425 for shallow water slips and $500 for deep water slips. Please contact the Dock Master or Assistant Dock Master for information regarding availability of slips and other inquiries related to the Boat Pier.
A Boat Registration Form must be completed at the beginning of each rental period and returned to the Dock Master or Assistant Dock Master prior to assigning your boat slip.
Canoe and Kayak Slips
Canoe / Kayak Rack slips are also available to members for a nominal fee. To reserve your spot(s), simply complete the Canoe Kayak Rack Space Rental Form and return it to the post office box or give it to one of the board members.
Picnic Area Reservations
The picnic area is a great place to host an event or large gathering. Use of the picnic area is reserved to members only. A reservation sign-up sheet in posted at the entrance of the Beach Club at the beginning of each season. Please write your last name in the space provided for the date you wish to reserve. We ask that you kindly remove your name timely in the event of a cancellation so that others may reserve the picnic area.
