Confirmed Case of Rabies
There has been a confirmed case of Rabies in the Holly Hill Harbor neighborhood last weekend. There was a rabid raccoon and they think there may be a rabid fox too. The county said they don’t have anymore bait / vaccines for the wild animals. All of the local vets have been notified. Please keep an eye on your pets and if they have any interaction with a wild animal, please take them to a vet immediately. Further, if see any strange animal behavior, please report it to animal control.
Community Sign
We’re very grateful to Dale Jones for all his hard work and effort to restore the community entrance sign. It looks fantastic! Visit our Facebook page to see a photo.
The Jellies are Coming
It is almost that time of year again where the bay is inundated with Jellyfish. Check out this cool site to find them. http://chesapeakebay.noaa.gov/forecasting-sea-nettles/
Pet Waste Update
Please take notice of the new dog waste bag dispenser that was recently installed at the beach, thanks to a donation from Jody and Bernhard. We really appreciate when members from the community step up to make positive changes for everyone’s benefit! If you’re a dog owner, please be respectful of your neighbors by picking up after your pet. It helps keep the property clean for members and children to enjoy and also keeps our Bay safe. It’s attached to the light post next to the pavilion.
